... a comenius project with partners from Kääpa (Estonia, Coordinator), Vaala (Finland), Debrecen (Hungary) and Paderborn (Germany)  supported by Comenius Action I within the scope of the educational program
SOKRATES of the European Commission.

Nature connecting people
There are remarkable nature areas such as  „Meenikunno raba“ near Võru, Estonia,  „Manamansalo“ island near Vaala, Finland, the national park „Hortobagy“ near Debrecen, Hungary and the heathland „Senne“ near Paderborn, Germany.

Students should make comparing observations in these areas looking for similarities and differences.

They enhance their knowledge about both species, plants and animals and their living conditions. They realize the influence of mankind on nature and the need to assume responsibility cross-borders to protect and develope these areas.
